The basics;

Citroen C1 Vibe

1.0 3 Cyl

2007, 57 Plate

Circa 95k miles

Tested until 30/10/19

The good;

- Presentable overall, wears it's 95k well.

- Four good tyres - front two Firestone fitted in September, rear two different brands but have good tread.

- New front brake discs and pads fitted at end of August.

- Sips fuel, £20 p/a road tax, very low insurance group. Only thing cheaper is walking.

- Battery was new in May with 3 year guarantee.

The bad, for the sake of full disclosure;

- The entire time I have owned it, under hard cornering to the right, ie roundabouts, a grumbling can be heard from the NSR. I have had it apart and inspected, can't see what it is, no play or roughness in bearing and drum brakes in good order. Went through test without issue. Planned to monitor it until it made itself apparent - it never has.

The drivers door can't be unlocked from outside. I can get it to lock/unlock by manipulating the inside door handle and turning the key, so the barrel itself is fine, the mechanism seems to be snagging on something. I'll try and fix this before it goes, door card is easy to pop off.

- Clutch release bearing a little noisy - they genuinely all do it.

- Few small marks, worst being some kind of chip on the leading edge of the roof which has started to rust. There is a small dent in the NSR quarter panel.

A few asides;

- Will have original stereo reinstated for sale. Upgraded speakers in place of the tinny originals though.

- I have the original wheel trims, they're a bit scruffy but will include.

- I have the v5 in my name and book pack.

- Had a new NSF wheel bearing in August, with invoice.

- Two keys.

Overall, really pretty tidy. If it weren't for the Astra landing on my lap, I'd not be selling. I'm quite a fan of these cars as evidenced by my review below;

My price to a shiter is £750 and that is absolutely firm. Car is located in Cumbernauld, near Glasgow although I am happy to help with collection from Glasgow, Edinburgh or delivery for costs. Taxed and insured to get you home.

Here are some pictures - owing to limited daylight I haven't yet taken any for the ad, I'll take it to work tomorrow and get some.

This is a bargain. I don't recall ever seeing anything less than a complete wreck for this kind of money. Mrs Spart has one with twice the mileage and despite trying very hard she can't kill it.

Ace cars.

I think you're right, I could probably get another good bit if I braved Gumtree. Hoping for a relatively straightforward sale at this price!

Got the two 405s on the go which are projects in themselves, as well as the Saab and the Astra has landed on my lap so needs must sadly.

One thing I should have filed under bad, but forgot.

You don't need more pics, just send money , it won't be here long , if my daughter wasn't planning on going to uni next year this would've been perfect for her, so much so I'm keeping my mouth shut because if I show her it she'll nag me and nag and nag
