binhoker668 Posted February 7, 2019 Share Posted February 7, 2019 The glow plug lamp comes back on for a few seconds after the car's started on mine, which I believe indicates at least one of them is failing. I mentioned it when I got the car serviced (at a shit chain place) and they said they don't do them because the risk of breaking them in the engine is too great. Well, that was reassuring. The car runs absolutely fine and I've never seen the EML on so I'm going to ignore it for the time being. Might ask my trusted local garage to take a look in May when the MoT comes around.Yeah mine does this too - no performance issues etc, and also leaving it be until May at least - also when MOT is due.The quote for the thermostat scared me!
