Méharis go for stupid money here, easily up to 10K euro... Wouldn't be surprised if that 900T was one of less than 5 still alive, wonder how much longer it will be around, didn't look too good :-(

A 1970 Rekord 1900L:

Then in the distance I saw something that was either a weird Beetle/2CV-based kit car or something Very Cool... better take a closer look then:

F*ck me! According to the badge (official Italian CSAI badge) it's a 1947 Fiat 1100 Sport. Made me grin for the rest of the day! Dunno if it actually has done a Mille Miglia though...

I haven't got a clue actually, parked in a garage on a ramp (no current MOT)... tried to find out a bit but all I get so far are links about the Bertone 850 Racer.

That Bert One is pretty funky.

As far as I know they weren't a one off, but then I think they only made maybe a dozen or so. Airport transport for a special event rings a bell but I'm not sure.

I'll have a look in some of my books, as the many Italian coach-builders and design houses were churning out hundreds of variations on the 600/850/900T commercial chassis, during the Sixties & Seventies.

Oh, that mini would have been so much nicer on its original narrow 10s... Amazon doesn't actually look too bad? Sill looks solid enough.
