red5
Despite it passing it's MOT with a couple of notes the damn thing is doing it's best to kill me/itself. Top rad hose split. New old one on way. Now the tractor syndrome has reared it's head. Just after changing oil etc etc. And headlamps. And tail-lamps. And O/s/f window -ish. And both rear door handles (not refitted). So, does anyone fancy it? It wants the pump advance solenoid cleaning/replacing. Well-documented. Door panels in rear refitting. And top hose will be replaced when it arrives. 12 months ticket.Rear trailing arm bushes a bit meh.Two tyres a bit oval/eggy. It's taking up space that I don't have anymore (lost garage space at work) and it's behind Escort and Oldsmobile. DaveDorson
Anyone thinking of buying this, that's worried about the Tractor Syndrome/ Timing Solenoid wanting to be done, it's not that difficult. I had to do one of these for someone a few weeks ago. Here's the thread I printed off and followed to do it. https://forums.mg-rover.org/diesel-forum-104/timing-solenoid-replacement-guide-412181/ Sheefag, Aston Martin and Lacquer Peel

I have lost any interest in it quite frankly. It's taking up an insurance slot on my policy that I need. Carry on. Six-cylinder
Lord Sterling
It's a very likeable car. Very competent on the motorway. Given the money (which is so cheap, its even probably achievable for a poor sod like me) I'd definitely have it.

sierraman
£150... what do you want? Complimentary mudflaps and a bunch of flowers on the back seat? Swat some under seal over the floors and it’ll probably outlast the car. Does it run with the problem with the solenoid? Doesn’t look a big job to do anyway. It had an advisory back in 2013 about a tyre so I’m out I’m afraid. gadgetgricey, Cavcraft, chaseracer and 11 others
Jim Bell
One day we won't believe that you could buy a full car with a full mot for £150. Till then I guess we'll just complain about them. oldcars, Bobthebeard, Tamworthbay and 9 others
Dan_ZTT
This is in/near Birmingham right? I like the look of it. My wife doesn't, but it's so cheap I might persuade her.
The Old Bloke Next Door
An absolute steal at £150, would fetch more on the bridge. If I was running one I'd buy it for spares. Laseraligningfoofooflanges and Cavcraft
Cavcraft
I bet my mate would give £180 for this over the bridge. Don't anyone ever moan there's no cheap cars about if this gets weighed in. Dan_ZTT
It's in Stourport on Severn. It'll drive anywhere .I'm only down the road in Redditch. I definitely want it but need to discuss with lovely wife when she's home later today, we have space & neighbour issues but I could probably keep it at work for a bit to get round that. Obvs not expecting it holding at this price so if someone else jumps in so be it, but I'll try to have a decision today.

clayts450
I really do want one of these as these are the hidden gems in the ZS family. But the timing is all wrong for me, sadly. Hopefully it'll stay in the fold and I can have a go later. Rod/b

sierraman
I hope you find one of these faultless cars for £150. red5
It's fine. Scabby corners of floorplan. Tbh I'd not even advise on it. Isaac Hunt
I thought this was a cheap set of wheels when it was up for about £250 or something like that At £150 and a few hours on the spanners and a few quid on a valve things with 12 months MOT this must do someone a good turn. Be good to see it live, there have been a few Autoshite bikes that have disappeared off or under the radar of late.
