Burnside
After spending the afternoon in the wind and rain at the scrapyard with my Brother. His 106 repaid us by having both the Digital Mileage display stop lighting up and the Heater has decided it only wants to work on the highest setting! Bit miffed as they were both working fine when we left in a monsoon until we stopped for a hot beverage and a reduced to clear sandwich. Anybody know if there a bulb on the rear clusters as the rest of the speedo and rev counter works and lights up fine? I'm going to guess the heater issue is the resistor but anybody know where it is on a 106 before I venture back to the Scrapyard in the morning? Kiltox
Buy a new heater resistor on eBay, not a used one that may be fucked or almost fucked The Moog
Burnside
True, and it is still working at the minute on the highest setting so its not desperate. It's just we could do with knowing where the heater motor is located first as looking at Book of Lies told me sweet FA and it was too dark / wet to investigate by the time we got back. Burnside
Update cuz it French M9 the Digtal Mileage display has fixed itself for now. So that just leaves the heater. Still working on highest setting so I think we are going down a new resistor route as it going to be a pita of a job having had a look at it earlier.
