"I do to cars what the fairy Godmother did to Cinderella before she went to the ball," says Leepu from the depths of his garage in Dhaka, one of the world's most congested cities. "Only, none of my vehicles will turn ugly again by midnight."

Pride of the fleet though is Leepu's 22-feet-long limousine - made by welding together several cars, and powered by a 2.8 litre diesel engine.

It took him 40 days to make, and contains a drinks cabinet, on-board TV, intercom and stereo. He estimates that it would be worth more than $50,000 if it was sold

Here comes Noddy:

Is that Jools Holland in the P4 "Gas Turbine" lookylikey? I kinda like that, should I have my eyes poked out also?

Yup. They made it for him. It's based on the looks of JET 1, the old gas turbine powered Rover. It's about the only decent job they appear to have done (no idea of what the structure's like!) because they didn't control how it looked...

The P4 looks alright but maybe thats because apart from the roof chop they've hardly done much to the styling-ironic that one of their best looking cars is one where they've touched it the least! The red car on display-was it a Calibra? it looks like its been drawn by Tony Hart whilst on a bad acid trip in the 1970s, wonder if like most of their other crap its wearing spacers 90" wide???

6" wide spacers.Rover continued research of the jet engine when they made partners with the Whittle company (which pioneered the jet engine) through WW2. Unfortunately, and typically (and prophetically!), the relationship went sour, and Rolls-Royce took over.
