I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any references books that detail how to tell various years of cars apart, ie detailing changes to grilles or headlights that distinguish between different years of car.

 

For example, I just got one on VW beetles which show how the wings and tail lights changed between various years of car. It’s sad I know but I’m always fascinated how people know a car is a certain model year just by looking at the headlight surrounds etc..

 

So anyone got any reccomendations?
