Anglevan
For sale - 1995 N reg Proton 1.5SL auto saloon in amazing beige metallic I bought this Aug 17 as a stop gap while I fixed my 1986 Lancer (well as that's now ready for the road this needs to be gone) MOT till Jan 2019 Currently at 71k. I brought this back up from Poole and its not missed a bit. Starts on the button and if I could be arsed i'd fit this engine in my Lancer as its much quicker than the carb effort of the Lancer. Has a slight knock on full lock from the n/s CV and there is a quiet rumble from the diff/gearbox, always had it and I never investigated it. Never changed fluids or owt, just ran it. Central locking is a bit hit and miss and sunroof leaked but I've sealed it all way round with sikaflex. Neatish job and better than the bathroom sealant job it had when I bought it. Id drive it anyway. Only rot to speak of is under the battery tray which has been glassed over. Not had a proper poke around but looks pretty solid. Bad lacquer peel on N/S door from a dodgy previous repair otherwise paint is pretty good. - happy to take more pics just ask. Car is located near Wakefield West Yorkshire 5mins from jct 40 M1 and is currently on SORN. Need it gone ASAP to make room for the Lancer.. £250 P9025660 by Anglia305e, on Flickr P9025663 by Anglia305e, on Flickr P9025666 by Anglia305e, on Flickr P9025659 by Anglia305e, on Flickr P9025661 by Anglia305e, on Flickr P9025662 by Anglia305e, on Flickr P9025667 by Anglia305e, on Flickr P9025668 by Anglia305e, on Flickr Lacquer Peel, Conrad D. HMC
Love this! Anyone fancy driving it to Devon for me?
DodgyBastard
That looks superb, I would've probably bought it if I hadn't just bought one in metallic brown a couple of weeks ago. They really are decent cars and have a bit of go about them with the fuel injected engine and autobox. eddyramrod and tooSavvy

Anglevan
Just had a thought - my mate is due to collect a Maestro from London with his trailer anytime soon so a spare lift down the M1 could be arranged with a contribution to costs... Can't get fairer than that....

Anglevan
Well Mr Bub2006 has been accepted for Autoshite finance agreement and is collecting this fine example of Malaysian automation. I'll let Mr Bub take you on the journey from here. On a positive note I've just been pi$$ing about with the central locking and 3 doors now work (yeah - bonus) Also didn't realise until I dug the paperwork out the previous owner bought this at 4 years old in 1999.... He obviously cherished it well !!! Good luck this evening Mr Bud - I even gave it a quick vac out for you... bub2006, oldcars, HMC and 1 other
