I think its the same hotel that I stayed at last time, and I got horrifically lost as I'll be northbound, and IIRC have to enter the northbound services, head for the BIG NO ENTRY signs and find the hidden bridge over the m6 to the southbound services!

its not on the m6

Ehh aye. It's on the A5. Premier Inn Cannock South backs on to the car auctions.

I'll be there in a battered multicoloured 416. Not in uni on Fridays so might even come down the night before for beer and chats.

Hoi!

If I can hitch a lift of Red5, I'll pop down too. Mad ting, it's happening 1 day before I get PAIDZ y0! So more than likely I'll not have any petrol money because: wife, petrol costs and the BMW will be crying out for some attention then.

Considering my options here; Is anyone up for the Mad O'Tourke's cow pie challenge on the Friday night? It's 13 and a bit miles away from t'Premier Inn. £10.99 but you'll need to pre-order.

If it's just me (and possibly Blind Trev) I might just drive up Saturday am.

Some book tat that will be up for grabs, I am having a bit of a clear-out:

Peugeot 406 Haynes manual

Renault 25 Haynes manual

Talbot Horizon Haynes manual

Ford Fiesta 95-02 Haynes manual

Ford Granada Mk2 Haynes manual

Ford Cortina Mk2 Haynes manual

Ford Cortina Mk3 OHC engines Haynes manual

Ford Cortina Mk3 OHV engines Haynes manual

Mk 3 Zephyr/Zodiac Ford parts list, tatty

Astra Mk 1 Haynes manual

Austin/MG Maestro Haynes manual

Montego 2.0 petrol Haynes manual

Rover 820, 825 & 827 (not diesel or KV6) Haynes manual

Small book about watches from Millers antique guide people

Janes Military Logistics 1988 (massive tome full of army lorries and the like)

Janes Infantry Weapons 1996-97 (massive tome full of guns)

‘Automotive Electrical Systems’, American Technical Society, 1956, written by the wonderfully named Frazee Bedell. This is basically a text book - I imagine bored Michigan teenagers defacing this in ‘shop’ class before driving their worn-out ‘47 Fords to the local drive-in for some root beer and making happy with Brenda from the drug store. Innocent times (not).

All free of charge, please shout if you want any of the above.
