Sorry for running straight after the auction, but I was on toddler minding duty this afternoon.

 

Anyway on with the auction game results. This is the quick result, full results and catalogue print will be posted tomorrow.

Clayts450 and Floatylight both had invalid entries for the over 2 litre category.

Here is the Cannock catalogue with hammer prices.

Lot 34 (Audi A6 Quatto 3 litre petrol) and lot 506 (Chevy Lacetti with under 70,000 miles) were probably the steals of the auction but I also liked the Octavia vrs with a very fixable MOT fail list (lot 30)

1. Rainbow Ray - The car must be a proper colour, not black, white, grey or silver

2. Leather seat Larry - The car must have leather seats

3. Workman Wayne - Any 4x4 pickup or van

4. Go West (or East) - Non-European manufacturer badge

5. Breeding Brenda - Estate or MPV

6. Pot Luck Paula - Anything goes

7. Motorway Mike - Engine over 2 litres

It’s been a bit of a tradition, an old charter or something that a few of us brave the cold/excess mince pies and roll up at some piece of ancient industrial mechanical contrivances. A couple of years back was the Burton pumping station open day, we’ve done the SVR at Bridgnorth a couple of times too.

Bit of steam blows off the cobwebs!
