The best car in the world?

Let us see...

20000 kilometres. Okay

Belonged to a Dimitri who was a lorry driver.

Now lives in Helsinki.

Restored 2014-2015 with original parts and second owner.

5635 rubles when this Dimitri bloke got it.

Then they say it could be the best Lada in the world. I see...

5 cylinder with a (hideously complex) Zenith carb.

I've read that 5 cylinder engines don't really work without fuel injection, how does the carb work on these?

It is the inlet manifold design that is complex for a 5 cylinder on a carburetter - how to get each cylinder inhaling equally - rather than anything special required of the carburetter itself.

My dig was not at the 5 cylinder, but at the poxy Zenith carburetter, the (very) weak point of an Audi and a BMW I ran for about 6 years each.

Can someone please buy this before I do something stupid, it's relatively local to me and cheap, plus Daihatsu. £650 or best offer.

It's a good job I'm sober or I'd probably be making a marginally insulting offer.

Maybe

I think it's inside a shipping container and it;s somehow chained to the roof to allow another car to be stowed underneath. Those chains from the wheels stop it swinging about.
