Anyone who damages someone else's property should be made to restore it back to its pre-damage condition, regardless of how difficult or how long that would take. Even this burned out Panda. That way they might appreciate the time, effort and money that has been invested in said item (car in this case), and just how shit it is to have a car stolen and burned out.

This. Letting the knobbers run through the meadows wearing 'I repent' T-shirts isn't going to help much.

In a situation as well where it’s been dumped and burnt out you’ve usually got no choice to to claim on the insurance or near the brunt of shifting it.

Car theft is despicable, but burning them out is just pure twattery.

At least with a break in and/or joyride you can mend it and move on, burn it out and you have lost everything.

Just shows how some people have absolutely no respect, as opposed to very little.

I'm puzzled how they got both, most moderns wont start without the key. They are sub human scum, and prison is no punishment for them. I like the idea of forcing them to repair the car under supervision, making them graft for a long time for nothing might make them think twice.
