Junkman
350 miles a week is absolutely nothing. If you can't afford to drive that with a proper car, you need a different job, not a different car. The Moog

puddlethumper
I run a car derived van and have van insurance. Couldn't get it otherwise. If I now go back to a car I can't transfer ncd which is a bit shit. For me I'm not bothered coz I love vans and haven't had a car for 20 odd years. New POD
350 miles a week is around 18k a year. Buy something that's comfy. What he said. I once tried to commute from L37 to Burnley daily 55 miles each way in a 1.4 AXD 18 years later i wonder what mental illness caused such piss poor descision making. I now commute 95 miles On Monday am Tuesday pm Wednesday am and Friday pm The best part of 400 miles a week. 1 fill up at 60 quid. in a 3.2 omega because comfy, lazy, auto with cruise control.
