tooSavvy
A proton with evo running gear would be fantastic fun..... think it has been discussed on P.O.C.

chompy_snake
Stage 1 cleaning has been happening today. Full N/S is now cut back, polished and waxed. We went from this .... To this.... I'm so happy that I have the machine polisher. I can't imagine going back to doing these jobs by hand ever! The paint isn't the best, but it holds a shine and looks stunning from 4 feet away. face, Broadsword, Exiled_Tat_Gatherer and 5 others
MikeKnight
Still don't know why the previous owner did that poor mans blow-over with the same colour. Let me know if you find any lacquer peel under that, as that's the only reason I can think of for the blow-over.
chompy_snake
What the heck???? Nothing much to report other than needing a new tensioner and aux belt fitted in a couple of weeks! Total love for this wagon Lacquer Peel

chompy_snake
You've only had it a month if that.My history with cars is awful!I make poor purchasing decisions as a rule. Best to date is I think my C200 which lasted 11 whole months before I had a crash and killed it. Had this car about 3 weeks now. To have no major malfunctioning in that time is extremely rare for me..... I think I will go well to beat the records bub has though. 2x brand new cars in a 6 months period Lacquer Peel
bub2006
Shush you. I'm on my 26th since Feb 15. I think but it could be more. I've no issues with mine either and I've had it a few weeks

chompy_snake
Lastnight I had a moment of mass panic! After a shot up the bypass, I let off the throttle on approach to the roundabout and the oil pressure light came on. In this car that would indicate below 5psi oil pressure. So car was coasted into handily located pub carpark and immediately shut off followed by a call to the AA!AA patrol decided not much we could do about the situation so far the was towed on a pole 4 miles to home. After discussing with Mike and hitting the Google we decided to fit a new pressure switch and hope for the best. This is what came out .... Along side the new one.... Access is fun* and best from underneath the car. 26mm spanner needed for the old sensor and 24mm for the new one. Here is the access and the new item fitted .... And no more low oil pressure warning.... HUZZAH \o/ The Moog, yes oui si and vulgalour
