warninglight Posted July 28, 2018 Share Posted July 28, 2018 I've ended up with a pair of MGs I don't need! First one is a Y reg MGF, 100,000 miles, had a fresh MOT a couple of weeks ago. Would benefit from some rear tyres.I've driven it a total of 6 miles and it seems nice. I'm told it does use a bit of water but I've pressure tested it overnight and it's not major.It's the normal 1.8i, no VVC on this. Bodywork has a few carpark dings, the hood is serviceable, and most importantly it comes with a factory hardtop painted to match. This could do with the headlining resticking. It's on eBay at £1000, but would take £900 from a shiter. Delivery is available on the trailer anywhere for costs! The second one is an 03 plate TF135 which failed its test a year ago on rot around the subframe mounts. It had a brand new hood with the glass rear screen shortly before this, it's a 1 owner car with 70odd thousand on it. Some cosmetic issues. Would take £400 whole off a shiter for this, but realistically I think I'll break it, so if anyone needs any spares...
