Can't shake this insane 147 lust I have right now, so I will take a random to get things moving, plus I am now up a virtual ticket since Robs Merc sold. 

 

Last Alfa (and only Alfa) I bought up north was shagged, mind you.

 

This one does has some redeeming features, the washer jets are a personal favourite, pulling back for the screen gives you 3 out of 4 jets on the windscreen, the 4th jet is reserved and only activated at the same time as you do the rear wash, pretty sure that's how Alfa designed it to work, honest.

 

It's coming across as shagged but I do trust it. I took the wife, 2 sprogs and the dog to Llandudno in it for a weekend. She'd have clubbed me to death with the dog if it blew up so that's some measure of belief in it for you.

It's fine...I told the missus the 'buyer' couldn't pick the car up for a week or two, I've neglected to mention that fell through, so there's time yet before I'm rumbled that it hasn't sold

Swapped the front wheels last night so it now has four tyres of questionable brands but with decent tread on them. I also forgot to cancel the tax so it has tax on till the end of the month for anyone fancying a punt.

In other news, does anybody else only ever find time to fix stuff on their cars when it comes to selling them?

 

Fixed a bit of missing silver trim by taking from donor. Required whole bumper removal of donor, unexpected sad face Y Tho.

 

Also realigned bumper a bit better on mine and sanded and sprayed over bad bits at bottom of bumper with a spare can of satin. Temporary fix as have new bumper to go with car but that’s a faff too far when selling to swap over.

I have but then I’ll have to think of a way of explaining why I have failed to achieve the ‘guaranteed at least x pounds love’ valuation I used to woo the wife in to not shouting at me for the SAAB.

There's a strong possibility I may be curing the knock over the weekend as fishing about under the car changing the wheel I noticed the ball joint  on the suspension top arm is perished and the donor car has one that is is in better nick.

 

Of course if I do that, I'll then find myself comparing springs and shocks, etc.

 

Clearly I am going to end up roffling Trigger's broom.
