DodgyBastard
Where to start? I got this at the end of 2015, took it in for an mot in around April 2016, it failed on a few minor bits and pieces, I ended up replacing the clocks and rear brakes/lines and passed it onto a friend who got it mot'd a year or so later. I got it back recently but just don't have the enthusiasm for it and the mot has just expired. For the next mot it will need a new windscreen, it has a big crack right down the middle so there's no chance of passing one without replacing it. Other than that the car drives fine and I can't see it needing much else. The car drives well and is quite fast due to the turbo diesel engine and 5 speed gearbox under the bonnet which came from a low mileage 306. The bodywork isn't too bad, there's a dent in one of the front wings and a bit of rust on the edges of the wings and under the bonnet, the wheel arches have no rust but there's a good bit of lacquer peel on the bonnet, roof and boot lid.It was letting in water around the scuttle area so the carpet is currently out of it, I did a bit of welding in the scuttle area, A-pillars and the floor so it won't require any more welding in the next few years. The heater matrix has been bypassed, I have a few spares which have small pinholes in them that could possibly be repaired. The blower motor has seized but I have a good working spare to go with the car. Interior is dark cloth from a GTX model, it's in great condition. It has a GTX steering wheel too.It has a set of 106 rallye steels fitted at the moment but if they're not your thing it can come fitted with plain black steel wheels, there's also a set of 205 gti speedline alloys included with the car. Also timing belt and clutch were replaced last year. DodgyBastard
So... I've just had a two page letter from the landlord at the unit about the tidiness of the yard, he's cracking down on the amount of cars we have stored which are over the allocated amount so we really need to get some cars sold or whatever. RJC_0929 by srblythe, on Flickr I'm going to strip this 305 estate and scrap the shell so that means there will be an uncracked windscreen which could come with this car for a little bit extra if that was what was putting people off?
