Jerzy Woking
I fancy another V8, preferably powered by an American engine. Most seem to be large in their physical dimensions, so are there any small cars with V8's? Saw an RX8 with a V8 conversion, but a tad expensive-looked well done and there seem to be popular conversion. Any others?
Supernaut
A Lexus GS430 is smoll compared to an LS430. See also the Toyota Soarer, they could be had with the 4.0 from the LS400. Neither of the above is actually smoll, just smoller than the other car the engine is used in.
NorfolkNWeigh
Rover 75/ MG ZT is the smallest factory V8 I can think of with a Yank V8. Obviously there are BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Merc C Classes all around 75 size but they use their own V8s. Pretty sure you can buy a kit off the shelf to put either a Lexus or various Septic lumps in MX5s, but you'd be as well going down the day hot rod route and dropping a V8 into DW's Invacar. Cleon-Fonte
Probably not something you'll be able to find easily (or cheaply), but the Simca Vedette was offered exclusively with a small block 2.4 litre derivative of Ford's legendary old Flathead V8 producing a mighty 84bhp. egg, HillmanImp, Jerzy Woking and 9 others
SiC
Isn't the E38 730i a V8? Can be had cheaply still at the moment. The E38 is also a James Bond car - possibly currently the cheapest car you can buy with that reference?
eddyramrod
A Rover P6 isn't a big car really, but as Junkman will testify, readily available with a lovely aluminium V8 thanks to Buick. Or maybe a Stag? Paul Dupart

Jerzy Woking
Not a great fan of BMW if I'm honest, and I like the sound of an American V8. The Lexus sounds all wrong, although a great engine. Mate at work had a Monero which sounded great, but aren't all Vauxhalls shite? The more I look the more I think a Yank V8 dropped into a Japanese/European shell sounds the way to get the car small enough that I like.

Tayne
Range Rover Classic, as it was designed nearly 50 years ago its comparatively tiny. Also came as standard with the 215 cubic inch Buick Jetfire engine. eddyramrod
