Finding myself at a loose end after my mum forbade me to drive to Newmarket because too hot, I shot over to Markeaton Park in Derby for an hour to gawp at some vehicles.

Usual selection of old choddage but these were the ones which stood out for me.

Lovely looking XR3i cab

Loads of Cruisers as well (the presence is strong in E Mids it seems) but I sneaked around - thought I snapped a photee but clearly not.

Nice vibe to the show, apart from the wanker in the barried Cosworth booming out loud tunes - you could feel the bass from the other side of the park.

Too hot to hang around for long but it got me out of the house for a couple of hours, and gave the Cruiser a nice fast blat.
