Vince70
According to this item if you own an old Mercedes or Renault you have the most reliable cars in the world so it looks like Junkman never has to buy another car again.http://www.zimfocus.net/index.php/2018/07/16/meet-the-zombie-cars-of-west-africa/Obviously when it says old Renault I doubt very much it’s referring to a 2002 Renault Laguna Mk2 IDE from experience. Junkman
Speaking of underdeveloped countries, I spent my last day at work (before I go on holidays) in one. I also saw a garage the likes of which you wouldn't find in Africa anymore. But parking cost two Quid. In the middle of nowhere. The mind boggles from such a degree of pure piss take. Vince70
How’s that lovely old Mercedes going junkman. After seeing those pictures I’ve decided once I’ve got sometime off I’m doing a road trip in one of my old 90s BMW chod. My girlfriends eldest daughter is on a road trip from Hastings to the Orkney islands but she’s doing it wrong though is she isn’t using her old 25 year old lime green polo for the journey and she might go on the odd motorway once in awhile which should be banned. I couldn’t think of a better car to do a road trip in than that big lazy 4 pot merc so when’s the roffle. Junkman
Junkman
Well, as you can see in the other thread, a recent road trip was done with the 405.The Benz appears to be a good one, though. I think I was very lucky and the seller was very honest. Shep Shepherd

Junkman
Have you contacted Mr Conelrad? He failed to fix the problem in the GGG 300D, so he is kind of an eggspurt in that field. Mrs6C and The Moog
Junkman
Yesterday, the GGG decided to do a road trip. Which is a sensible thing to do since this kind of weather can't be taken for granted.Despite I left Conrad completely free choice of WEPON, he opted for the Führerwagen. I reluctantly agreed under the condition that he is doing the driving. We stopped at a pub. It had one of those Hardly Dangerous motorcycles parked outside. Oh, and this: Of course some dolt had ruined it. Magnificent Rustbucket, drum, Bag'O'Spanners and 10 others

Junkman
The FFF developed a creaking noise. Upon closer* inspection, it appears to come from the front ball joints. But since it was only audible at low speeds, we decided to alleviate the problem by driving faster. Junkman
I got it in exchange for LBJ and some Kippers. After the tour of Oirelant, loike, the cars were reverse swapped.LBJ was subsequently sold to fund the R16 and this car is still owned by who owned it all along. It spends most of its time at the Rover Sanctuary.
