This last weekend was the Bromyard Gala; a combination of steam fair and country show just can't fail :)

Kenworth for me! A surprising choice maybe but I'm always impressed by big American rigs, especially in the Peterbilt style. On the way to Kent on Saturday I passed a layby with a large dead something or other, think it was a coach, didn't pay too much attention, it was diverted by the heavy wrecker it was attached to which was something like this Kenworth but probs a Peterbilt, anyway it was a satisfying sight, very impressive 8)

That reminds me of the time when I was in a Norfolk pub which had crocodile on the menu. Being the brave gastronomic soul that I am I ordered it with the line 'And make it snappy' to the waitress.

 

I suspect it was about the millionth time she'd heard that line so promptly spat in it before serving...
