overrun
A workmate needs a new car to replace a knackered Scenic. No real requirements, but the newer the better I guess, and something car sized would do. Up to a grand to spend.I suggested N/A small petrol engines, as it won’t cover many miles. He’s a nice lad, but doesn’t know much on the subject and asked for my help. Cheers.

overrun
Cheers for the replies so far, folks.I’ll pass the suggestions on. TBH I have asked him to acquire a little more info on what is wanted. His missus does the driving, so hopefully he comes back with a little more detail, tomorrow! So far, I’d say the Citroen May be the kind of thing they could do with.

vulgalour
From memory, K11 Micra is red, manual, is a 1.3, I think, bodycolour bumpers, grey interior. I think it's the one that's had at least one front wing replaced with a brand new one because the old one was a bit crusty, and I think it's got a fair bit of MoT on it... Mike's not here to ask right now but I'll ask him tomorrow when I see him and get more details for you. Or, send a message to MikeKnight on here and he'll likely pick that up before I see him. overrun

Jimbob McGregor
I have my partner’s Honda Jazz to sell.New MOT, 2007 07 plate 1.4 SE in grey with working air con, half-worn matching Michelin Alpin winter tyres all-round. 104k miles. Few scrapes and dings. Very roomy and practical with the ‘magic seats’ and fuel tank under the front seats. She’s had it for 7 years or so and it’s utterly, boringly reliable apart from when the battery died a couple of years ago. Both front wishbones replaces within last two years. Recent new exhaust section (Bosal, I think it was).Looking for no less than £1000. overrun

MikeKnight
Apologies for not replying sooner. I have the following available. Added the reg numbers so they can check MOT histories if they want to. 1L Corsa B reg M623 HPA - £395 - if they just want something cheap and cheerful that's been superbly maintained.1L Nissan Micra reg X943 EDC - £495 - superb condition, power steering, really nice car to drive.Vauxhall Meriva - £1500 - interior is like factory new, owned by a nice old lady before me, full tank of diesel, don't have the reg number to hand right now.
