But the tyres lived on elsewhere.If I'm honest I had a horrible experience with one of these years back, didn't think anyone really liked them and the price of scrap compared to price paid for it (free) at the time made it a no brainer. Milford Cubicle Posted July 6, 2009 Share Posted July 6, 2009 ASHES TO ASHES CLASSIC Old Audis (quattro apart) don't seem to have any following, which is a shame as they're very competent cars for their age.I'm very impressed with my Coupe, it's been pressed into daily duties a few times now. It still feels quite modern to drive in spite of the design being nearly 30 years old. Shame about that floppy agricultural rear beam axle though.
