Ford Fiesta something 1998

1998 Fiesta (honestly can’t remember engine size, probs 1.3)

Failed MOT on one weld (sill, right by rear suspension arm thing) and brakes being unbalanced.

Mileage is genuine, MOT history throws up a rogue mileage count one year, really don’t know why.

Was told it’s not long since had a new clutch.

3 keys and handbooks with it.

Drives fantastically on a short, private road.

N/s/f wing has been badly ‘giffer fixed’ and this s is an old Ford, so don’t expect a new car.

That said it’s very genuine and will I believe so someone a very good turn, it’s is NOT being sold to someone who will scrap it, as much as I can help it anyhow.

S F Question re the speedometer.

Is it cheaper to make a gauge like that, which swings through just 180 degrees - assuming you can ever get 125 mph out of a Fiesta - than a traditional one that swings through 270? That is something that upsets me a bit, it's only 90 degrees to 70. I bet it hardly moves when pottering about town.

I learned to drive in one of these. Sorry but I thought my mum's 1986 Pug 309 was superior in every way (except upholstery).

If there's a single car left in the entire world that's worse than a Peugeot 309, it should be set alight and pushed off a cliff.
