Lord Sterling
It's a good car but I can't get too enthusiastic about it, it's been reliable and it sips fuel but I find it a bit stodgy. Itching for something else already.Wish I could buy it tbh. The BMW is costing me £50 a week in fuel even when I'm lightly touching the accelerator. Lacquer Peel
Justice! It's fixed. I bought and fitted a cheap new MAF sensor a while ago and it turns out that was causing the "wiring fault", refitting the original MAF sensor cured it. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F372340069977 Do I have any comeback? They're a bit vague about returns. Jim Bell and loserone

skattrd
One thing I found out on these motors, is genuine MAF only. They're expensive, but cheap ones usually cause more problems. I bought a replacement used pd130 airbox with MAF and pipes for mine for £30. This also means more airflow and loads* more power. Richard
What's so hard about making a MAF that nobody in the aftermarket seems to be able to do it?
