Inverness to Oxford and back in a day sounds heroically mental, at least there are 2 of you to drive down.

 

 

As you're not certain would anybody be able to be the backup plan? If it could make it to within walking distance from Aberdeen railway station she would be able to collect it.

A flight from Aberdeen to Heathrow, the seller will meet us there thankfully, then Oxford back to Aberdeen airport to pick up my car. I'd prefer to go to Shitefest but I did promise I'd help a while ago.

He will have five MK4 Hiluxes by Saturday. Hopefully that's enough now, maybe he's planning to usurp ISIS.

I can fit a bicycle and a bag of curtains in my house somewhere.

 

However, would I be able to fit them into an E36 coupe also full of camping gear?

Mine and 17-Coffees' mutual non-AS mate is coming along in his VW Golf Plus though, so could even try to convince him to help.

 

 

 

I'm about a 40-minute walk from the station, but can also offer collection service with enough notice.

Thats a good enough backup plan for me,  if all else fails I could always drop it off Supernaut towers in the 405.
