Ghosty
SUMMER IS HERE! Yes, that's right, the beautiful British summer has landed. And you're on AS because you like cars, no?Well here's the ideal* summer runabout! 1993 Honda Prelude 2.0i automatic 107,000 miles MOT to 23/8/18 minimal rust very clean! This is a good car, and it excels at being just that; a car. It's smooth, it's fast, it stops, it turns, blah blah. At the end of the day, it's just like any other '90s Honda, but less practical.Made in Japan, this car has such luxuries as: -an alarm that doesn't work (remote central locking does though);-electric windows, mirrors, aerial and sunroof;-automatic gearbox with sport mode;-four nearly new Evergreen tyres;-new Monroe front springs, and KYB shocks;-full size spare tyre;-14" official Honda accessory alloy wheels; and-a boot spoiler. The 2.0 SOHC Honda F-series engine makes 130bhp, as also found in the Rover 600. It's great on the motorway. Cambelt has been done at some point as it's wearing a Gates belt, not sure when, mind. IIRC these are non-interference anyway. The car has MOT to August 23rd, and I see no reason it wouldn't fly through another. The trailing ends of the rear arches have some paint bubbling, but for a Honda product of its age it's minimal. The car is very presentable, and while not perfect, it's incredibly honest. It has been resprayed in the original colour at some point in its life. There are a couple of small paint marks and a couple of scuffs on one or two of the wheels, but that's as far as it goes. Selling as it's one in one out.In light of there being quite a few fourth-gen Preludes on eBay at the moment, two of which are in Lancs, I've priced this competitively at £900 firm. As ever the car's in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester. Delivery may be possible for train fare home (I have a Railcard so 1/3 off). Will consider a £15 roffle if there is interest. dollywobbler
You neglected to mention the fantastic steering. This is a fine motor car. Ghosty

Ghosty
Ghosty why are you selling so soon?! This is a beauty. You've put me in massive dilemma now...I lusted after this and I need an auto..gahh I don't know why but I'm just not arsed about it, it's too nice, not practical enough, etc. I just haven't gelled with it really and keep thinking back to something else. Besides, I don't quite trust myself with it, and there's quite a bit of money to be saved in selling. I had a hankering for a certain something else, and I've managed to find and agree to buy one so this is on the block. Liking that, would be up for a couple of randoms. Has it got aircon? No a/c unfortunately, was an option on these, wasn't standard until 5th gen.

Ghosty
It's not that thirsty, sensibly driven you can easily get into the 30s. binhoker668

clayts450
These old Honda coupes have really piqued my interest after I stumbled across that barried late 90s Accord coupe on Fartface a few weeks back. This looks gorgeous, but a bit out of my price range more's the pity. GLWS/R
