Before leaving for the journey southwards, Gigglepin sensibly wanted to check that the locking wheelnut key was both present and the correct one, you know, in case of a puncture or whatever. Of course, in eleven months of ownership I had never taken any such precaution, and was forced to admit I'd never even had the wheels off. Cue breaking the special centre cap removal key on the first attempt at getting one off. Had to resort to tapping the bolts round with a hammer and old screwdriver.
