This is the time of year when the seems to be a show every weekend, lots of early sunday morning starts, lots of polishing the car on a Saturday afternoon and lots of early nights, well how about this then, a show that starts at 4pm and ends when the last has left (which this year was us and the mini folks at about 10ish)

Lots and lots of quality metal on display for the glorious weather, quite a suprise really after a shakey start to the day (it was teaming it down until 2ish :-/)

That looks like a great show- where was it? I've seen several of those cars at shows in Sheffield, so must be around here somewhere? Too many to pick faves, but that grey PA has been an object of my lust for a couple of years now! The rear wheels of your mate's mk 1 look a snug fit under the arches!! Me too- still right up there in my all time fave top 10 list. Especially the Super, with it's chrome trim to the "Lotus stripe," and also post face-lift for the best front end look. As I've frequently said before, I much prefer the lines of the 2 door, but a 4 door would do!! Picky, me?

It is pleasing to know that I have become a character mainly through having slightly crap taste, that's just my ordinary work outfit (I usually come straight from work - this year I had the day off but couldn't be arsed finding a clean set of trousers). Amusingly as that look was combined with a camera, two seperate groups of older folks thought I was from the Wakefield Express. WHAT!
