quicksilver
Anyone else going to this on Sunday? It's set to be a massive event with over 1000 cars - a lot of exotic stuff but also plenty to interest the shiter. The Maxi is booked in. alf892 and Six-cylinder
dollywobbler
Yup. I'm on the Hagerty road run with the 2CV. No idea what time we'll be landing, but we'll have our own parking section apparently. I look forward to some MAXImum perve action. Six-cylinder

quicksilver
I see you found the Maxi but did you find the Visa Mr 6C? Many photos of interesting things to sort now so it'll be a few days before I put them up here. Just as a taster though. A rare and exotic blue car. And a Bugatti. Diversity. Where else would a Ferrari F40 rub shoulders with an FSO? My favourite car ever. There were two of these and this one was in the public car park with a disabled badge. dollywobbler
That was a blinding event. As you say, some wonderful variety. Thanks for the pic of me driving the Trabbie Tramp Mr six pot. I was having the time of my life, wishing I'd videoed it! Just parking up allowed quite a contrast. The Vauxhall later buggered off and was replaced by a Volvo Amazon. Which was nice. Sorry. This one has my face in it. An Datsun. And an Autovia V8. Whoa-ho Big Bedford, Jag MkIV. NorfolkNWeigh, oldcars, eddyramrod and 5 others

Six-cylinder
I have snapped this Visa in the past at Bicester and believe it belongs to the apprentice scheme. I was planning to ask them but never found them.

RayMK
Nice photos from all. Unfortunately I was still too knackered to attend and was unaware that it was Drive it Day. Bicester has nostalgic memories for me - dad was based there in 1960ish - I attended Brookside Primary school. Our car when we moved there was a 1933 Austin 7, later a side valve 1954 Hillman Minx. The Spitfire which used to adorn the parade ground has since been restored and was/is flying again!! The main aircraft activity at the time was Avro Ansons and DeHavilland Chipmunks. How time flies ! quicksilver
There's no shortage of media coverage already but you don't want to read about shiny Astons and Bugattis with arty-farty photos do you? Instead I've done a review from the shiter's perspective focusing on the sort of cars we like to see round here.
