Well. Keen and sharp members of the beige brotherhood will know that my heirloom Zafira has had a bit of crisis on an electrical nature. Until these issues can be properly investigated and hopefully resolved, I needed something to bomb about in.

Has anyone heard of Ebay?

Its on that superfast broadband internet that they have these days and its very addicting.

Ill just have a quick loo...

Its an unspeakably miserable day so I decided to con the Mrs into a shit old car collection by raising a facade of us doing a bit of the old womans shopping. Each shop stepped us closer to the car.

While she was popping the end of a 50p hot dog in her mouth I dropped the B Bomb.

"IVE BOUGHT A BROWN CAR DO YOU WANT SOME MUSTARD WE HAVE TO COLLECT IT IN AN HOUR."

She stopped chewing.

"Right. Well we'll have to go back to Tesco on the way home. Youre buying me ice cream."

Deal.

Lets get in on.

We left Ikea at fucking rush hour and fought our way out of the Metrocentre in the newly repaired Focus. Took us an hour just to get out onto the A1, but after that it was only another hour to get up to Seaton Sluice. The whole journey should have taken half an hour.

Was worth it though.

Because she is a high maintenance trophy wife. In that, she preffers ice cream that costs upwards of 50p.
