Peugeot 305 GL

Right, let's try this again...
I initially put this up for sale when I spotted a 505 for sale on eBay I wanted to pursue but, it went for more than I was willing to pay so with that no longer available I've dropped the price of this to something more realistic.
I'm still not 100% sure that I want to sell it, every time I take it for a spin, I want to keep it but I still much prefer driving my 305 estate and I could be doing with some cash to put into some of my other cars.

Classic Peugeot 305 van for sale
175k miles
11 months mot

Starts stops and handles reasonably well, it's an old van so not the fastest thing in the world but the 1.9 straight diesel keeps it reliably plodding along, it's fitted with a Bosch fuel pump so can run on vegetable oil if that's your kinda thing.

I've had the van for a few months and it's had light use, it's quite tatty looking but is solid in all of the right places, the ends of the sills and rear arches have been replaced, they are solid but it still needs some filler work to make more presentable.
I have replaced the doors, tailgate, lights and starter motor from a 305 estate I have sitting.
The orange beacon works and there's a tow bar.
Things to note:
There's a bit of a grumble from a front wheel bearing and some funky noises coming from the rear drums, usually tapping the brakes gets rid of the noise, perhaps it's the shoes wearing low, I haven't checked.
I also managed to lose a corner of the front valance when out playing in the snow.
The drivers seat is badly worn on the side (see pic) and the speaker covers on the door cards don't match.
The gear knob is from a Volvo 360 as well as the rear arches.

I've enjoyed my time "saving" it but would like it to find an enthusiastic owner to continue with its improvement, I don't really want to roffle it.
I also have a turbo diesel engine and gearbox here if anyone wants it with the van (not fitted) and a pair of 306 D-turbo half leather seats I was considering trying to make fit.

The van will come on the original grey steel wheels as seen in the last photo, the rallye steels are on my other 305 estate.

I am asking £1000 for it.

Located in Fife, Scotland.

So, it's now blue. The paintwork is still just as bad as it was before but now it's all in the same colour, the photos definitely flatter it.

As well as changing the colour, I swapped a better axle and front struts from the spares car. It's a lot quieter and the grumbling noises from the bearings have disappeared, it handles better too.

I'd still like £1k for it.
