Tadhg Tiogar
Near Buckingham. Event itself is at Stowe House on the 14th. I believe entries open next month. Within easy reach of M1, M25, A41. Won't need camping, as not far from home.
Zelandeth
Nice...will get the terrible trio booked in once I'm back home and have all the details to hand - and am working on an actual computer with an actual keyboard and not relying on dodgy holiday resort WiFi.... Please tell me someone is going to be there with a 2CV... I've been wanting to properly expose my husband to one for years now.
Mr Lobster
Booked in for classic parking - tempted to enter the concours but not sure if the van is good enough or how good they want them to be. Its due in the paintshop in June for a few cosmetic bits so I'll mull that one over for a week or two... dollywobbler
Mash won last year, and his Sunny was well presented, but not free of the odd rust bubble. Go for it. Have booked the Invacar in. chaseracer, Mr Lobster, rantingYoof and 2 others
Jerzy Woking
Will be going, but in the modern or on the bike. Had a look at pre 1988 cars for sale on ebay. Ye God's, the price of some of them. No, sorry, all of them. Probably because I am old they were all run and then scrap cars in the 90's.

CX definitely not up to concours standard, unless they count engine bay grubbiness and patches of surface corrosion as part of the originality. In any case, being a 1988 car it probably falls just outside the age qualification.
flat4alfa
Sorry I cant get on right now but what is the cut-off date for classic parking?
Tadhg Tiogar
....what is the cut-off date for classic parking? When the number of available spaces is exhausted. Still about 500 spaces left at the moment.
DBrown67
I'm a bit confused about this "classic parking". Is that separate to the show or is that the show itself? Theree was a separate section for some Hagarty special show thingy (can't remember) and I thought that was it so booked that. I'm not interested in being judged with mine being modified. dollywobbler
The Concours is the main bit. The classic parking is just rows of older vehicles. It's all good.
egg
For post-89 cars, you can just rock up and park on the day in the general parking right?
puddlethumper
Last time I went, 2016, I rocked up, in my beaten up 88 van and was directed into the classic bit by the stewards. Didn't book. Might be different now though, getting bigger, innit.
BorniteIdentity
Aye, things have moved on from 2016 in Northants. The main arena is the selected concourse stuff. The chod-park is the other old stuff. The public car-park is away from the aforementioned areas and is where you park your Ford S-Max if you’re just coming for a look. The chod-park is, in my experience, what it’s really about. Not perfect examples but ones that get used. rantingYoof and egg

davidfowler2000
I TOO ALSO HAVE BOOKED. SOD THE CUTOFF DATE! My ticket is for "Forward Parking" so I dare say that'll just let me rock up and walk about but if they point me in the direction of the main event then I won't say no. rantingYoof
I missed the chod park last year, somehow. It didn't help that an hour after arriving the heavens opened and a lot of people left. Not making the same mistake this year. Waterproof work boots and appropriate clothing will be packed.
panhard65
Just booked the hearse in for the classic car park. There is no way it is good enough for the concourse. Hopefully it will all be ok for the trip by then as it is booked for the classic Le Mans a week or so before. Six-cylinder

bramz7
I don't think adding a photo is mandatory, as I haven't. Looking at the list of who is going on the website suggests it's going to top last year!
