Come for an hour or stay all weekend. (or longer just pm me if you want to arrive sooner or stay longer) There is plenty of space, you get a flat grass field, composting toilet creaked by Bucketeer and mains water from a stand pipe. I have a large tent donated by Taxi Paul I plan to erect as HQ. If you just don’t want to drink tea or visit the Festival of the Unexceptional here are some of my ideas for party games:Take head off spare Visa engineSpitfire brakes re assemblyI have several small engines that won’t start - hedge trimmer, strimmer, chain saw x3Start tractor and use to move tipping trailerFit cutting cylinder bearing on Hayter Condor ride on mowerFit Battery to Peugeot Elyseo 50cc field bikeHerald Coupe – remove rocker cover to check value gear of locked engine, check brakes and suspension and drive it up the road! Not sure what the FotU catering arrangements are, so perhaps an early morning fry-up at the FoD could be arranged? We have a couple of gas stoves and there are enough pallets and plastic tables around to make up a field kitchen... Otherwise, there is a Buckingham Tesco with a café sort of on the way, or a few miles out of the way (about 9.9 of them) there is the amazing Super Sausage at NN12 7QD (Watling St, Potterspury, Towcester) which does awesome breakfasts, but you'd all have to be up very early for that, to get back to Stowe for the start. Slowsilver Posted June 30, 2018 Share Posted June 30, 2018 Wouldn't bother with Tesco in Buckingham for breakfast.Used to be a normal OK cafe run by Tesco, but is now an arty-farty franchise serving overpriced espressomochachocolatte and trendy muffins. Disappointed to learn that Tesco at Buckingham have lost their proper cafe. Really hoping this current run of great weather doesn't break in a spectacular way that weekend.
