2003 Omega 2.6 V6 (not Stu-) CDX automatic

175,000 miles, or something like that.

Sounds lovely and is actually not half tidy for the age.

Allegedly it wants two drop links for the MOT. I say allegedly because I've only driven it the sum total of about 11.7 yards as the MOT has expired and it's on ScORN. Did feel like the brakes were slightly spongey to be honest.

Cloth seats, snazzy alloys, has the appearance of a car that's been looked after

Last MOT advisories were:

Advisory notice item(s)
  • Brake pipe slightly corroded both front to rear (3.6.B.2c)
  • Oil leak ()
  • Rear Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases (7.1.2)

£275, possible slight shiter's discount. The yard have offered me a pretty decent sum for this, but it's probably too good for that.

Could do with it gone pretty handy ideally, but if no interest (and the market for a big engine, probably stupidly high RFL'd Vauxhall can't be too big, I'd have thought) it can go to God's waiting room on the Wirral.

If I don't bridge it I might not be able to go on the razz next Saturday. Then a plague and pestilence will descend on me in the form of Saturday night telly and my missus banging on about stupid things like wardrobes that need building and why my bike is still in the hall.

PFFFTTT. A small price to pay for saving an Omega.

I haven't been through the old MOTs and receipts, but there seems to be a right load there, and there's no pictures of the nearside because I totally couldn't be arsed moving the car enough.

I was going to link this to the Omega Owners Forum, but I don't have 250 posts to my name.

Also, they don't allow links to other sites.

Sorry Billy.

Looks like the clock is ticking with this one.

No worries, Dave and thanks for trying.

I want this. I cannot justify it.
