Conrad D. Conelrad
SOLD P6 V8 3500 AUTOP6 by Conrad Conelrad, on FlickrYou know this car. I bought it in 2014. Somewhere there's a thread with the full story and loads of posts about how easy to live with and reliable it's been, but don't look for that thread or read it it's probably really boring.p6-sale-01 by Conrad Conelrad, on FlickrIt has MOT until the 18th July, and will be exempt from May. It is, of course, tax exempt. It is a scruffy thing but generally sound. It ideally wants painting in the original Scarab Blue to compliment its beautiful and rare Mango interior. The current paint is shit, really shit.It has started leaking brake fluid from one of the rear calipers a bit, and this will need to be fixed. Seals are included, all you have to do is fit 'em. It also has an oil leak from the engine. You can fix that too, if you like.1975 Rover 3500 Engine by Conrad Conelrad, on FlickrUnder the bonnet you'll find a lovely HUCO electric fuel pump and Powerspark electronic distributor. Good tyres. The radio does not work, but it lights up real pretty.Shiter's Price£1999.99My location:I can collect you from the train station or the airport. SiC
Despite the braking fault, that is a very good price. Problem is I want a Dolomite and that will fill the Inn. I wonder how long it'd take to sell the MGB. Hmm Laseraligningfoofooflanges

SiC
Unless I just got whooshed, which happens from time to time. Either that wasn't there when I wrote it or my eyes were distracted by the pictures of the car. Speaking of which, what does the cardboard do in front of the radiator? Conrad D. Conelrad
Speaking of which, what does the cardboard do in front of the radiator? I meant to remove that for the photo. It just helps the car warm up a bit quicker on freezing cold days. Like those vinyl muffs you used to see on FX4 taxis. Jazoli
Speaking of which, what does the cardboard do in front of the radiator? I'm guessing its there to help the car heat up faster or its a fix for a knackered 'stat.
Mally
Everyone that couldn't afford a Kenlow had a piece of cardboard in the old days.Gets the heater working on a short journey to work. You remove it when it starts boiling on a weekend run. 3VOM, mercrocker and Squire_Dawson

chaseracer
Mr Conelrad kindly lent me this lovely car for a few days in September 2016. I've never been so popular with female Waitrose customers 'of a certain age'. Proper pulling machine, it is. Conrad D. Brodders
Hmmm, it's funny this should come up, as the Astra has gone (meaning that I have more room) and I was thinking about P6's. Insurance is also coming in £200 cheaper than that 626 on the eBay tat thread. Hmmm... Tempting... alf892, Sloth in a bowl, Slartibartfast and 4 others
Captain Furious
Yeah classic cars can have that effect, its a fine line though between “he drives a classic car and is therefore non threatening” and “serial killer” vulgalour, egg and chaseracer

flat4alfa
Oil leak I presume is the crank rear rope seal?
Conrad D. Conelrad
Maybe, but it's a neoprene seal. There's evidence of oil at the top of the engine, so it might well just be the rubber seal at the end of the valley gasket. I haven't investigated at all. Brodders
Unfortunately I am out of the house at the moment, so I am not able to do my usual due diligence until I get back. Use this time wisely Keith (ie: buy it)
Talbot
Hhhhnnnnnnngggggg.. I would really love this. I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of all my other shit and just having one classic that I can actually use. I suspect there is no way I can sell all my other crap first and then buy this, as anyone who has the cash available right now will have this in a heartbeat.
