Well I've just dropped a deposit to the current owner of this......... and will be winging my way to UK for a trip home asap. It'll be after the lads n dads holiday next week...... need to find a class7 test place in Bristol area to wang it through..... fingers crossed it doesn't need a mountain of work. I kinda know the seller and he's a good lad, so I'm not expecting anything nightmare-ish.

Currently running without lights and had a Frontera 2.3TD swap all done......... expecting front brakes need refurb for test but everything else seems good. He did an extensive walk-around vid for me and I'm itching to go get it!

^^ Crikey, when I glanced at that pic I thought it was maybe an old favourite from the past, the CBS Supervan from the very early 80s.

4.4 Rover V8 and V12 Jag IRS (and the Jag front suspension too).

Check out those tail-lights.

This was bedroom-wall material when I was 13.

For some reason it reminds me of Debbie Harry and Kim Wilde. Yes, both of them. The pair of minxes.

FFS, in 1981 Debbie Harry was 35.

But anyway, back to CFs . . . .

What's the French for "It's got a cop motor, a 440-inch plant"? ;)

Appealing as the idee might be, une projet de travail is out of the question.

That van managed to make it through to '93 when it was last taxed.

And it is literally down the road from me, if you want me to have a look.  :-D

Oh, did I mention it has a Holden V8 in it?
