VWPowered
ahh mon petit chere, well as i planned on using it for events that i'm going to, possibly get some stickers made for the car to promote a little (any autosite stickers yet) and what started as a cheap form of motoring (starts getting to you come sorting insurance and paying for the carte gris etc (little polo is a 1.3 but 6CV which is the same as the passat but yesterday got some cheap alloys from leboncoin and today went to get some cheap rubber all €240 of it (gulp) that smartened the car somewhat then had a play with some gt bits and fitted the GT clocks and surround, steering wheel, fitted the sony CD player and speakers, tyres and alloys, GT Style grille, uk spec right rear light (no reverse light now that will be a spotlight bolted to the boot) so now have 2 foglights, fitted my foglights (bottoms ones had for a while, got the top ones for the costly sum of €3 from the local car-boot) wired the lot up and they do work but decided i'll run them through a separate switch as to not overload the standard circuit, do i lower it , i'm glad to say i'm pleased with it, its 23 years old but due to having a fresh cambelt and the benefit of fresh oil and filters, being stored in a underground car park for numerous years (where the original owner lived) it drives smoothly and its got the 5 speed box (well 4+E ) so enough of the banter already, pics of the wee beasty as i got it ohhh not so long ago.. running sweet 145R13's scary stuff indeedy this mornings alloy and rubber change after afew hours fettling i know its not to everyone's taste but i like my polo so i'll stick up for it

VWPowered
the wheels are Italian and the little disc in th ecenter of the wheel says techno i brought them from the local classifields listed as being for VW..Polo dont have any placement for speakers except in the rear for 2x 6x4's so i made up a custom shelf that houses a couple of 7cm running of the stereo and a couple of 10cm running from a small amp in the boot, front are taken care of by one 6x4 in the center of the dash plans will be to fit some nice tweeters into the corners at a later date... duckbill (golf 1 or scirocco Mk1 and proberley from GSF) and slight lowering oh and a rear mounted fog... MrRegieRitmo
Rennie 9's both Phase 1 http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/urbex/g ... SQ3240.jpghttp://www.franco-oldtimers.com/urbex/g ... SQ3243.jpg Very rare to see a poverty spec spoiler-less one!The other is a later R11 fronted one (phase 2?) you can tell because the rear lights have a small black band along the top & bottom edges. They could of course, have just replaced the rear lights for later ones!
Richard
Looks so much better without that stupid spoiler, I wanted to remove the spoiler from mine but it would have left holes. If I'd been able to find the correct colour of bootlid without a spoiler I'd have fitted it.
