rantingYoof
No, this isn't deja vu. I'm posting this freshly in this forum (with kind permission) because I think this is where it belongs. I also realise I ramble too much when doing for-sale adverts and sometimes people just want facts. This Mercedes S320CDi is being sold on behalf of a neighbour's friend; he asked me to pop it on 'that forum where you sold the Frontera'. His friend's father has unfortunately become too ill to drive it, and so to prevent it languishing it is being offered for sale at a very low price compared to other examples on 'Trader and 'Bay. The goodIt's a 2003 reg125k on the clockMOT until November 2018 (see screen-grab)Camchain I think, rather than 'belt, so no rouletteIn pretty good nick and in a very nice colourThere's no sign of the usual rot that afflicts these carsVery sumptuous looking interiorI've been informed by the neighbour it has service history/paperwork and has generally been cared for The badPaintwork could do with a touch up in a couple of places; relatively minorNo insurance or tax to get you homeDue to being standing a while the battery needs a jump-start; once started (the neighbour's friend has jump leads) it's fine, and it was driven to the MOT and back no problems; it's a newish battery and shouldn't need replacing once it's had a couple of good runs Located, NN2, can help with collection. I can also put you directly in touch with the lady (my neighbour's friend) who can arrange viewings and/or talk about it more. I was going to say this isn't quite at the 'buy-blind-and-collect-it' price but then I remembered I'm on Autoshite and people here are insane quite awesome. BorniteIdentity
Considerably cheaper than the 190 Base Model I bought a fortnight ago. I have tried really hard, but I just couldn’t love one of these. But someone’s in for a treat for sure.
cort16
Looks like great value. I bet this would make a great commute weapon for virtual mo pounds.

flat4alfa
My word! What an M1 commuter weapon Fella I know paid 3k for one of this series at auction a year or so back, we played electric seats front and rear and wafted about to our hearts content but finding a space to park it was a bind. Then it caught fire a few weeks later (no tricks) and the insurance payout was nearer £5k. Spawny Get.
rantingYoof
As documented in another thread, this was sold to a friend of the seller who was visiting from Spain and always admired the car.
