Personally would have liked to seen either of those at stock height with stock hubcaps on steels of some sort.  Much more of a headfuck that way and in the case of the saloon one that was done, probably more practical since you could still put the rear seat in properly.

Many years ago I went to an american/hotrod car show,there was a guy there with a matt black Maxi,in full slammed y'all stylee,after talking to him it turns out he hadn't lowered it,all the spheres had gone :-P
