It lives in East Yorkshire between Hull and Brid. I have several cars and run a classic storage business on the side where I rent out some space where I keep mine. I wanted a classic van, but found out they were an endangered species. I have a Hanlon bodied 3.3 L Holden engined ambulance which was used as "The Bandulance" until it was retired and always liked the CF. Some searching online led me to buy two CF 4x4 vans from NI (ex Electricity Board) to make one good one. In the law of sod, not long after buying the project ones, D762 YLT popped up. I bought unseen after a long conversation with the owner and when it arrived I was amazed that it was as good as described.
I usually work in the Gas Storage industry so had signs made for both my line of work and Classic Car storage, repairs and service.
It also stars as the "Band Bus" for gigs as I am still an un-discovered rock star (See also Les McQueen...).
Drives as well as any CF I have driven. No issues with brakes or anything else, however it does tend to weld the clutch plate to the flywheel if left idle for a while. Start on starter motor - build up speed the brake and clutch - bang - good as new.
She is well looked after and a keeper.
No old photos I assume? I'll post the 4x4 Rosie again when at home.
