Interesting times....

Two CFs have appeared in the ebay thread in the last few days: a matt-black camper in that there London and a white plain van in Southport.  At the same (realistic) price!  Both are the later front with the 2.3 engine.  I think the white one looks a more honest vehicle.  It's the one I would choose, of the two.

Just a shame about the timing!  I can't afford either of them, and if I could, I couldn't drive it.  Bummer.

GLWTS everyone!

Yes, that's the Southport van.  I like that one quite a bit.

Cor, that white one is nice. In a battered old van kind of way. Which is good!

The price doesn’t look bad at all either.

It is, isn't it?  Apart from having the late front end, it's just the sort of thing I was looking for.  Never mind.  There'll be another.

Likely, yes.  But maybe I'm just more keen than he is to be driving a CF?  Hell I'd drive anything right now, even my boss's diesel A4.  That says something!

My dad had one new, I often drove it

I also bought my own caravanette a few years back. It left more oil on the drive than the sump holds.

I must be almost as daft as you eddy.

But I'd never lust after another

It’s a bit of a shame you can’t go for this one Eddy.

Interestingly, the white van's price has come down.  Not much, but the right direction at least.  Neither van has any bids...

if you get a CF2 I have two of the unobtainable ball joints (at least that is what they were sold to me as) - can't remember if they are the top or botton but they aren't the same as the CF1, other is CF1 and can be found.

The Opel engine was good - but maybe that was because it was low mileage because in a camper

The black van in That There London has been relisted again.  He doesn't seem to be taking the hint on price though.
