SAAB 900SE V6 Auto Convertible-ish

It's time for me to move on the AS bike SAAB 900 almostfloppytop. I like it and have enjoyed our time together but I don't love it and it needs to go to make room for many more vehicles.
It's MOT'd to the 31st July. It will get you anywhere you need to go. It has many faults. It makes V6 brum brum noises.
£3.50 per ticket, £7.00 for two, etc.
Location is GU16 but I can pick up from most places in the South East, or possibly deliver for the return fare home.

The pictures were taken (badly) this very day.
I will list all the faults shortly but this car has taken me on several 300+ mile trips in the last month, and to work and back regularly without a (new) problem.

Right, good and bad bits.

Good.

The engine is ace. It purrs like a kitten and pulls like a great. Never overheats or owt. The bodywork is good. Only one (I think) 5p sized rust bubble on the front wing and a bit on the inside of the boot lid. It changes gear, rides and stops fine too. It has a spangly Bluetooth USB mp5 head unit thing. It has leather, if you like that kind of thing.

It also is a classic in the eyes of Footman James so insurance is silly cheap.

Bad.

The hood doesn't work. It didn't work when EddyRamrod had it for the third time. I reckon it might be a stripped plastic gear or summat. There's lots of stuff about this fault to wade through online.

The driver's window doesn't seal flush, as per picture. I've never had any water ingress but it increases noise at speed.

The heater doesn't heat very much but does eventually get the cabin up to not cold.

Occasionally, over big bumps/potholes the ESP flashes on momentarily and cuts power for a split second. It has been suggested that this might be an ABS sensor, loose wire or whatevs. I drive around it and it's never been a problem for me.

The accelerator pedal action is slightly sticky, nothing much but it's slightly annoying.

I think that's it.

Ugly.

The chrome number plate surrounds.

I would trust this to get me anywhere, and keep getting me anywhere. With the niggles fixed, it could be glorious.

I get 34-35mpg on motorway runs and 29ish round the houses.

one for now, perhaps more post list

One random? One particular number? Or many many more?

I've updated the original number list.

I forgot to mention that there is a load of history with this car from it's moneyed early days, lots of private plates and money spent. It's later history with us plebs is probably well documented on here.

I also forgot to mention a fault. The driver's seat bolster on the door side is a bit less padded than the other side, so you lean slightly towards the door. I have fixed this problem by keeping my wallet in my back right pocket.

Also, I owe 320touring and The Moog a ticket each and have added them to the list.
