Love these, still remember my first one. TOS18X.. Used to run it with a jerry can under the bonnet as the filler neck has disappeared.. ended up bodging on a Mk1 Golf one, as the Scirocco ones cost more than the car.  Had a few after that- I found it to be THE most comfortable driving position of any car ever. Hate VW autoboxes though, soz.

The ones that sell for 500 quid on ebay look no where near as nice as this one. Plus you don't have the shitty bodykit that just traps water and rusts the fuck out of them. If this were a manual, i'd have had your hand off.

Funnily enough the Auto box on this feels quite brisk but I find the driving position pretty hateful to be honest

I wonder had someone retro fitted the inner driving lamps- didn't v early ones not have them (or maybe that's just the mk1)

I think early base models didn't, but they were added across the range later.

Dr Dub's Scirocco site will know...
http://website.lineone.net/~dr.dub/

I love these without the bodykit.
When I bought mine 4 years ago there was always a few cheap on eBay, but they seem to be thinning out now. There's fewer MOTed working ones too, more 'barn finds'.

No, you're not. I prefer them too.

Did they share the bodyshell with the Audi GT, or am I being extremely stupid?

Numbers 1-59, bonus ball on the lottery.

You set a price per ticket, people choose a number or randoms, once all are taken then people pay you for what they owe via PayPal, once all have paid, the next lottery draw decides the winner.

Importantly, people pay via PayPal without ever mentioning raffles, prizes or competitions as it's against their terms. All done via gifts with cryptic notes attached alluding to a username.

Have you found the seat height adjuster yet?

This is another raffle I'd not hesitate to jump at, but fortunately, I already own a Scirocco.
