Have fun, I was there year before last. There isn't any particularly spectacular shite to be seen around the city center and Old Riga, you need to cross the river into the poorer area to find the shite really. There was plenty of 1990's Volkswagens for some reason and Dodge/Chrysler Minivans were EVERYWHERE when I was there. Look out for the MK1 Mondeo estate and BMW 5-Series E34 taxi's.

I can highly recommend the Belgian Beer Cafe 'Bon Vivant'

Mega bonus points from me if you can find this suicide machine!

This one is Latvian. https://www.ss.com/

Quite a selection of prime chod, dominated by BMW and VAG.

Very reasonable small Rover selection too.

Unsurprisingly a few UK cars on there as well.

A couple of quick picks:

Tasty 1979 VAZ 2101 1.2L Euro 950

Translation reads: "Sell well preserved Vaz 2101, not rusty, can be tested on the pit"

https://www.ss.com/m...2101/eekdg.html

vaz.jpg

Tidy 1988 Moskvich 412 1.5L Euro 750

Translation reads " Machine in good condition. Newly arrived TA"

https://www.ss.com/m.../412/iimph.html

musko1.jpg

Last but not least, a project 1958 Moskvich 402 1.2L Euro 1.500

Translation reads " Parduodu 402 moskvi4u. the boutique is solid without big Russians. not blurred drive is working. (engine from 407). the box is rubbing with your hand. with documents all cardboard"

Make of that what you will.......

Many many more available.
Could this be an early contender for thread of the year 2018??

Selling a Moskvich 402. The body is solid without major rust issues. Runs very well (the engine is from a Moskvich 407).
The gearbox shifts smoothly. The car comes with the old style cardboard logbook.
