Roverageous
Best T4 guy in the area is a guy called Andy. He was at Barton for ages but I think he's near Doncaster now. Hours forum name on the 75 club is Trikey. He's a top bloke & can sort any 75 out. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Roverageous
You need to search local specialist that has the T4 kit and knowledge try MAPLE GARAGE (SPROATLEY) LTD Aldbrough Road Flinton Hull East Yorkshire HU11 4NA 01964 670392 and I don't know either of them personally thoughI know Trikey personally - very very highly recommend. Roverageous
I might do that, I imagine it'll go to something like 150bhp, it's at 131 at the moment. No idea how much it'll cost.Goes to 160 well worth doing, it will really wake it up. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk Aston Martin

cpjitservices
250 miles today in the new red Rover, From Hull to Darlington to Newton Aycliffe back to Darlington then back to Hull nothing major to report. A strange thing happened, I was turning in the road and reversed down a slight slope. Engine cut out and the fault that displayed was Low Oil Pressure. I restarted the car and all was well in the world, that message didn't come back, and it ran fine. Checked oil level and that was fine so probs just one of those things. A few little annoyances, like for some reason the driver's seat changes position all by itself when I get in the car, so I have to press the number 1 to get it to my saved setting, I definitely need to sort out the Stereo, the sound is garbage and the screen is broken on the Nav, that'll be on my to-do list. I also seem to have an engine cover missing, the washer bottle lid, and maybe part of the air intake is missing too. There is wheel wobble at about 50-500 which is cured by more throttle to 70 no more wheel wobble, I presume the wheels need re-balancing and correct pressure putting in the tyres. Overall its a good car with a few niggles, which I'll sort.
cpjitservices
Oh yeah, I need a surround for the driver's side door handle too which Im sure one of you guys said you had ??? oldcars
Split_Pin
The seat thing is because you have pressed the open door button on your fob for too long. Key 1 is synced with Memory position 1 and Key 2 with Memory position 2. Ace feature. Holding down the button will return it to the relevant setting in relation to the key. The oil pressure light is a bit iffy in general I think. Mine takes a couple of seconds to go out after starting first time but it never comes back on again and the engine runs fine. cpjitservices
cpjitservices
AHhhhhh thanks for the info, I forgot to add that when the error appeared about my low pressure that the engine actually stalled whilst in reverse? I deduct from the above then that my key is key 2, the other key I have needs a new casing. I am looking at this purely because I think it would look better rather than faffing with facias etc... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bluetooth-7-Car-Stereo-Radio-MP5-MP3-Player-2-Double-DIN-Touch-Screen-7018B-UK/253601439179?hash=item3b0bd2ddcb:g:pxAAAOSwomVbEKVm
Roverageous
They're designed to cut out if they think you've got low oil pressure. I had one with nearly 300k on & it occasionally did this, oil light also took 5 seconds to go out on a cold start but when my mechanic tested the oil pressure from a cold start it was coming up immediately. Consensus was a dodgy sensor. I never did anything about it and it still ran sweetly when I traded it in. cpjitservices
Quick question... I have noticed my headlights stay on for maybe a minute after I've turned them off and locked the car up. Does anyone elses do that? I had this feature on the Jag didn't expect it on the Rover. oldcars

cpjitservices
Follow-me-home headlights on a Rover?I know, I don't know. They stay on for approximately a minute then go off. Nothing in any of the switches to set a time like on the Jag with Auto lights. So no idea. Not sure if anyone elses does it.
cpjitservices
Just looked in the internet, yes, the lights are supposed to do that if you switch engine off rust without turning lights off... Turn them off and they will stay on for 30 seconds.

cpjitservices
Had a bit of wheel wobble on motorway the other night, quite bad at 50-55 - popped car into tyre place and have had wheels Rebalanced. Will see if that's cured the problem later on - only cost a tenner!! Facia for radio dispatched this morning as well as new shell for key. It's always exciting getting these things!
