keef
Finally had to "give in" and replace my old tax disc holder on Victor :- http://cbc.homelinux.com/gallery2/main. ... temId=5072 I suppose it has done quite well: been in the car since 1982! http://cbc.homelinux.com/gallery2/main. ... temId=5069 Interesting to see Busseys still exists :- http://www.busseys.co.uk/whiffler_road_norwich.html Wonder if they'll replace it under warranty? Conrad D. Conelrad
I don't know when my tax disc holder dates from, but it's branded WJ Brown Ford dealers, 339 Finchley Road, Hampstead. Telephone Hampstead 2284-9.The dealer seems to be a furniture shop now.

Guest
Interesting to see how little road tax has risen by in real terms, I dont know how much RPI has gone up by in the last 27 years (probably trebled?) but eighty quid in 1982 for a years rent was probably proportionally a lot more than whatever it costs now for a 1.1 engined car? Pillock
Busseys? My sister bought a Mondeo Estate from there not so long back, still going strong as a main dealer.Didn't they used to be down near Tombland closer to the centre of Norwich though? I'm sure in my stoodent days I used to ride past Busseys . Palace street maybe? I notice on google maps though there's a big load of building work going off where I thought they were. FredTransit
Our 240 came with the original tax disc holder, but it wasn't in the window. It is now though.
