should be getting this beut traded in.  Older chap has had it for last 10 years or so. 97k, for those who dont klnow, its an mps, 2.3 turbo 4 cylinder with 260 bhp and 4x4 with a manual box.  full loaded with all the toys.  These are just over 6 secs to 60 and 150 mph machines. They are also rusty bastards. He put it in for a test and its failed as you will see when checking.  Anyhow it £400 which is as cheap as I have seen one of these, and its come from a good home.  just scrapes in under the cheaper tax too.

No idea, we wont be doing it.  It will i suspect be sold to a local "car type" mechanic, just thought it worth mentioning on here incase someone wanted one.  i imagine it will need a pair of sills to be good to go...it will still then have frilly arches........... sadly I suspect its worth more in bits, but i wont be breaking it.  :)

Scotland and a lot of winter salt, I bought a MX5 last year that came from Glasgow , looked great on top but underneath looked like it'd been dangled in the sea

If I hadn't just bought a Range Rover I'd be all over this , a couple of years ago I had an Impreza wrx, 240 Bhp 4x4 , I loved that car , went wherever you pointed it , I'd think this would be very similar but 22 mpg gets a bit wearing after a while, at least this one isn't in the £500 tax band like mine was

This is still tested until the 21st right? So could be legally driven home?

I just learned to weld a couple of months ago, as well. I daresay this would be a bit of a more serious job than a Mk3.5 Fiesta though, right?

2nd dibs if NJG pulls out though please!

Only if you cycle to collect it again!
