The Good ...

MOT till September 2018

Bodywork wears it's years well (silver)

Grey leather interior

Heated seats!

Leccy heated mirrors.

140k miles

The Bad ...

Gearbox crunches in second on the downshift.

Clutch bite is high but definitely not slipping.

I inadvertently put super unleaded in it and it developed an occasional 'stutter' when accelerating after that... Not sure if they're related but it doesn't do it often.

Needs a new Flexi front exhaust pipe ...
Priced one up at ECP £45 with discount code.

It's not a bad old barge ...

It's been taking me from Herefordshire to Nottingham and back regularly as I'm working there until Christmas.

I've only owned it a couple of months... Needed an estate in a hurry to shift some stuff.

Now for sale because I've bought something rather scary
that I pick up at the weekend!

Will try and get some pics up if I finish work tomorrow before it gets dark.

Car located in Nottingham

Taxed to 'get you home'

£200 as I need it gone.

Nearly forgot ... It's got quite a decent service history until quite recently ...
The Joker who owned it previously stamped the last 2 services with his own stamp and yes you've guessed it a fictitious garage including a hand written note 'new clutch kit'!

Super unleaded shouldn't make it stutter, especially being German. If anything, a lot of German cars expect super over premium and more than a lot of other manufacturers.

Got pics?
Oldies: 1972 Austin 1100 2dr - Project Rust bucket, 1974 MGB GT - A stereotypical classic car.
Moderns: 2008 Audi TT - Utterly boring but very compentent, 2010 Aldi A4 - Owned to placate the wife on my crap buying.

Yes SiC agreed ...

But it was running fine until the super went in ...
Stutter started as soon as I left the pez station ...

So understandably but not unequivocally I related the two.

Dirty fuel perhaps? I used to treat my Passat to some super now again and it always ran better in it.

Super unleaded would make it stutter if it’s a diesel :-)

Brilliant... late in for lunch I fired up an off-brand pot noodle and while carrying it to the lounge successfully spilled it all over myself, burned the piss out of my hand, soaked my phone with the juice, soaked a load of expense receipts I was also carrying and it hit the hall floor and just fucking exploded....it was literally dripping from the ceiling in my newly decorated hallway. The obvious and considered reaction was to throw an immediate, massive paddy and boot the fucker down the hall while screaming, which has made the whole scenario about 18 times worse.

That scuff on driver's door is new ...

Didn't see it until i put it through the wash this morn ..

It will polish out!

There are a few battle scars here and there but overall it's a 'tidy mowta'

No interior pics as I'd left the keys in my locker and attempts at 'through the window' pics set the flash off...

Leather is good no rips ...only thing of note is there's a hole in the driver's side carpet.

So cheap.

Is looking for a Derv version last year, the interior alone is worth the asking price.

They have a few faults as a car generally but not that many, for me their still one of the better built cars of that generation and for 200 groats is a MEGABARG

Maybe the station doesn't shift much sooper dooper and it's a bit off. Or had the station just had a delivery and stirred the shet up in the tank.

Hello. I've been reading this lovely forum for a little while and have finally got round to signing up because I've been on the lookout for a cheap pez estate of some kind, hence I am quite interested in this barge of yours. I will send you one of those message thingys.

Thank you sir, with luck I will have acquired it within the next couple of days.

My wife has even given her approval based entirely on the heated seats and the boot space for dogs, so I think I'm on to a winner here.
