bramz7
That's really disappointing. I remember seeing it parked in Warwick Avenue (proper olde rich London area) in 2014 with some early autumn drab weather. Still one of my personal favourite photos too. danthecapriman
It's a nice car, but it's not worth what he wants for it at all. Better off going to the source for such things, better choice, better prices and you can get dry state cars that haven't lived underwater covered in salt like they have in this cuntry! It's all that 'scene' bollocks that drives prices up over here too. flat4alfa and Joloke
DodgeRover
I think i know where there are 2 of these sat in a garden in sheffield, they will probably be absolutely buggered and only fit for the frag, but might yield trim and clips and interior stuff if you buy one and need bits. I rapidly lost interest as soon as i found out they weren't V8s Tamworthbay and Joloke

danthecapriman
This ones fairly cheap, and it's a V8 that's had lots done. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1975-Ford-Mustang-coupe/332481396885?hash=item4d696f8095:g:nPEAAOSwCtJaKYXs&vxp=mtr Far from a minter of course but I'd run it while repairing it. danthecapriman
Nice but still too pricey dont know what it iswith european ones they are priced really silly ive seen tham for 11k euro over there as nice as that is its a £4k car that works out at £6+kIt's because they were always unusual and not your average car. The ones over here command a premium because of it now. Plus your buying into all that line dancing and confederate flag waving bollocks! One will show up, it's just a case of waiting for it. billyboy406v6
Junkman
You will be surprised how much they go for in Trumpreich.Just a bit of warning to avoid you having a heart attack. If you want a cheapo Stang, go for the still ignored 71-73 ones.Bonus points for Halicki impersonisation. chaseracer, Datsuncog, flat4alfa and 4 others
danthecapriman
I suppose it's like a lot of things, the original Stang becomes collectible and desirable, thus prices rocket.People start being priced out of the market so look for alternatives, so then the later models go up in value. Mind you, look what a really nice Capri will cost you now! Then look at a similar condition and age Mustang. The Mustang will offer so much more! JeeExEll
Errm, the seller bloke hasn't actually done anything wrong by sticking to the high price of his black Mustang. Ok, you wanted to own it but he's asking too high a price. Move on, no need to be malicious about it. Sure, I absolutely don't agree with the scene tax, but that car's never going to sell at asking price anyway. Ever. He's messed things up for himself. Find another, they made millions of them. mercedade, Cavcraft, LostnotFound and 10 others
Mr_Bo11ox
Well said Capree. 'Man holds unrealistic value of his classic car', pretty standard fare I'd say danthecapriman and Joloke
JeeExEll
Man asks unrealistic price, greedy man still has old car in driveway a year later, unsold. His choice of asking price, but for a potential buyer to be malicious about it is out of order. No?Who would want that to be the default situation? Clanger
True Dan Still havnt found anything suitable though and getting Mericans to talk to you is hard work! Perhaps the "oh no Mericans are hard to talk to" attitude leads to Americans not wanting to talk to an overseas buyer - especially when they have so much potential locally... maybe a case of the chicken or the egg? That being said... I live in a dry state - we've had less that 1/10th of an inch of rain since last winter - and if there is something in the Los Angeles/Orange County area you would like me to look at feel free to ask. Here's one on Craigslisthttps://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/d/1974-ford-mustang-2/6409131063.html It has two less than the correct amount of cylinders, it's automatic, and has a floppy top so you can enjoy the balmy English weather. It's a bit far from me but, Meowodchina lives close. I live near a shippers that specializes it overseas export - I am willing to bet that you could own that and have it on your doorstep for under $6,000. Just sayin like. danthecapriman, eddyramrod, alf892 and 1 other
Cavcraft
Wouldn't it be such a shame if that email address provided were to be signed up to loads of spam... *ahem* Yes, it actually would. He's selling his car, stupidly priced or not and regardless if someone makes an offer they think is fair, he clearly doesn't. I could be missing something here, but why all the ado? eddyramrod
Yeah there will be, but a Mustang II is what Jo wants. She's already had a "better" Mustang and found it wasn't quite what she wanted. Haven't you ever set out to find something specific, regardless of what anyone else thinks of it? I know I have!
